More Coming In

Not only is the English Premier League well off and running, but the European Champions League (ECL) has now also begun. Eealier this morning the groups, consisting of 32 teams, were drawn. The groups are named A- H and each have 4 teams.

Group A: Barcelona, Chelsea, Werder Bremen, Levski Sofia
Group B: Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, Sporting Lisbon, Spartak Moscow
Group C: Liverpool, PSV Eindhoven, Bordeaux, Galatasaray
Group D: Valencia, Roma, Olympiakos, Shakhtar Donetsk
Group E: Real Madrid, Lyon, Steaua Bucharest, Dynamo Kiev
Group F: Manchester United, Celtic, Benfica, FC Copenhagen
Group G: Arsenal, Porto, CSKA Moscow, Hamburg
Group H: AC Milan, Lille, AEK Athens, Anderlecht

Manchester United as you can see have an easy group with only Celtic, Benfica and FC Copenhagen to beat. Hopefully Man Utd will at least be able to make the next round this year compared to last years shameful outcome of last spot in the group stage.

Well in any case i'm looking forward to another exciting Champions League season and it should turn out to be a good one with alot of interesting fixtures.

It Has Begun

The English Premier League of EPL has once again begun. For all soccer fans this is one of the most or even THE most elustrious football league in the world.

For any one who is not a fan of chelsea then i call you my friend, for this is our chance to take the title back from the proclaimed "team of champions" and re-introduce to the title a "chamion team".

My favourite team- Manchester United or the "Red Devils" is once again in the race and have already secured an easy 5-1 win over Fulham. This impressive goal line was helped by scorers Ronaldo, Saha, and own goal by Pearce and 2 goals from Rooney.

Hopefully Man Utd can pull the EPL trophy away from Chelsea this season and if they keep this current form it does not seem to be a feat that is out of reach.

Getting into it..

Ok, so now we have all the pleasantries out of the way it is time to get into business. What is this simple web page devoted to you might ask? Well its quite simple- 2 things. Me, and soccer.

• Soccer- the beautiful game, the "real" football and the most popular sport in the world is one of the only things constantly on my mind.

• Myself- 16 years of excitement to be packed into this very small page, but i think i'll be able to fit it all in.
